In April 2021, Ewa Beach Assembly of God marked a meaningful milestone as Pastors George Nagato and Robert Stalcup installed Chevis English as Senior Pastor, beginning a new season of leadership and ministry.
Chevis and Sharonne English
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Chevis English’s journey with the Lord began when he gave his heart to Jesus in 1995. The following year, he found his church home at Ewa Beach Assembly of God, where he was baptized and quickly became an active, faithful servant. From the very beginning, Sharonne has been right there beside him, partnering in every step of ministry and life.
With a shepherd’s heart, Pastor Chevis is committed to the call God has placed on him—to lead, disciple, and equip people for the work of ministry. He is passionate about reaching those who are far from God and has devoted his life to sharing the hope and new life found in Jesus.
Chevis and Sharonne have been married since 1995. Together they raised three children—Elijah, Elissa, and Elias—and have since been blessed with a daughter-in-law, Rhea. They now joyfully celebrate the newest additions to their growing ʻohana, Jyra and Jedidiah English.
